The intensive cultural links between Khorezm and Eastern Europe took place in the period of the Golden Horde.
Finds of the lusterware in the layers of researched sites together with the local pottery are important for the study of cultural links of towns of Khorezm in the Middle Age.
As a result, the trade routes were revived via Khorezm in the Lower Volga, along which goods were transited and the cultural links were maintained.
